Szrenica mountain hut — how to get there
You reach the Szrenica mountain hut by cable car from Szklarska Poręba, which runs to the summit of Szrenica (1,362 m), or on foot along the red trail via Hala Szrenicka. A Karkonosze National Park ticket applies on the trails: 11 PLN standard, 5.50 PLN reduced (September 2026).
By cable car
The Szrenica cable car carries you from Szklarska Poręba straight to the summit beside the hut. It is the simplest option with children, or if you want to walk only one way.
On foot
The alternative is the red trail up Szrenica via Hala Szrenicka. It passes the Hala Szrenicka hut, where you can also eat — useful to know, since the buffet hours at Szrenica are not published.
Ticket and time of day
The hut is inside Karkonosze National Park: a trail ticket costs 11 PLN, or 5.50 PLN reduced (September 2026). The park may be visited from an hour before sunrise until an hour after sunset, so leave a margin when planning to walk down.
