Szrenica cable car in Szklarska Poręba
The Szrenica cable car is the two-section Szrenica Ski Arena cable car whose lower station is at ul. Turystyczna 25a in Szklarska Poręba. In summer 2026 it runs daily from 9:00 to 16:30, and a ride through both sections takes about 30 minutes.
How does the Szrenica cable car work?
The cable car has two sections, and riding both takes about 30 minutes. You can buy a ticket for one section or both — up only, down only, or return. That means you can ride up and walk down, or the other way round.
Who is it for?
- Families with children — kids up to 6 ride free, and children aged 7–14 get a cheaper ticket.
- Anyone who wants to see the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains) from above without hiking all the way up.
- Visitors with pets — small and medium-sized animals can travel on the cable car.
Does the ticket include Karkonosze National Park entry?
No. The operator states that cable car prices do not include the Karkonosze National Park (KPN) entry fee, so you need to sort out the park ticket separately.
When should you set off?
In summer the cable car runs from 9:00 to 16:30, but the last ride up and down should be planned by 16:00. If you want to come back by cable car, remember that riding both sections takes about half an hour.
