Kamieńczyk Waterfall — how to get there

Kamieńczyk Waterfall lies in Szklarska Poręba on the red trail from the town centre to Hala Szrenicka; the walk from the centre usually takes about an hour. Since 16 June 2026 the red and black trail section from the car park to Rozdroże pod Kamieńczykiem has been closed until further notice.

On foot

The waterfall is on the red trail (the Main Sudetes Trail), which continues to Hala Szrenicka and Szrenica. Trail descriptions give about an hour from the town centre. The map below shows the location.

By car

National road no. 3 runs through Szklarska Poręba from Jelenia Góra to the Jakuszyce – Harrachov border crossing with the Czech Republic. See the parking page for car parks.

By train

The railway from Jelenia Góra runs through Szklarska Poręba to Jakuszyce and Harrachov. In autumn 2026 replacement buses run between Jelenia Góra and Szklarska Poręba Górna — according to the town notice of 31 August 2026 from 31 August to 24 October. Check the current timetable with the operator.
