Coach parking in Szklarska Poręba
A coach or a van with more than 9 seats pays 25 PLN for the first hour and 20 PLN for each further hour in Szklarska Poręba, up to 200 PLN per day — the same rate at every municipal car park, including ul. Turystyczna. The town map marks three car parks where a coach may park.
Where can a coach park?
The municipal parking map marks three points where coach parking is possible:
- The car park on ul. Turystyczna behind Netto (“Parking centrum 1”) — a barrier system with an automatic pay machine that accepts cards; the town also marks a public toilet here. The rules of this car park explicitly allow buses and lorries up to 3.5 t.
- The car park by the Szrenica cable car (ul. Turystyczna) — the closest to the lower station.
- The Kamienny Krąg car park on ul. Kilińskiego — close to the centre and to the stop served by bus lines 1 and 2.
What does coach parking cost?
The rate is the same at every municipal car park: 25 PLN for the first hour, 20 PLN for each further hour, no more than 200 PLN per day. Six hours cost 125 PLN (25 + 5 × 20), and for a longer stay the bill stops at 200 PLN per day. For comparison, a car pays 8 PLN for the first hour, 7 PLN for the second and third and 6 PLN for the fourth and each further hour.

How should a coach driver park?
The municipal parking rules (§5.8) tell drivers of vehicles carrying more than 9 passengers to use the bays designated for them and, where there are none, to park so as to occupy as few spaces as possible. There are no exemptions for coaches. You pay at a parking meter (coins only, no change) or in the MOBILET or City Park App apps; at the ul. Turystyczna car park you pay at the automatic machine before leaving, by card if you wish, and then have 15 minutes to drive out.
What the town does not have
Szklarska Poręba publishes no information about a separate coach station or a car park for camper vans — the paid-parking resolution does not mention campers at all, and the rules of the ul. Turystyczna car park admit lorries up to 3.5 t. Before bringing a large group it is best to call the manager: MZGK, ul. 1 Maja 53C, phone 75 717 23 56, office Monday to Friday 7:00–15:00.
