Car park on ul. Kilińskiego in Szklarska Poręba (Kamienny Krąg)
The municipal car park on ul. Kilińskiego in Szklarska Poręba, marked on the town map as “Parking Kamienny Krąg”, costs 1 PLN per half hour, 8 PLN for the first hour, 7 PLN for the second and third and 6 PLN for the fourth and each further hour. The charge applies 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
Where exactly is this car park?
The car park is on ul. Kilińskiego in Szklarska Poręba, in the area of the Kamienny Krąg stone circle and not far from the centre. The town resolution lists a car park on this street in §1 point 8 (plot 454/5); that point was given its current wording by resolution no. XXII/244/25 of 30 October 2025. The town map labels the spot “Parking Kamienny Krąg”. The two descriptions very probably refer to the same place, but we have not verified the plot number on the ground — follow the signs and the parking meter when you arrive.
What does it cost?
- Half an hour — 1 PLN.
- First hour — 8 PLN, second and third 7 PLN each, fourth and each further hour 6 PLN.
- Bus or van with more than 9 seats — 25 PLN for the first hour, 20 PLN for each further hour, no more than 200 PLN per day.
Five hours, enough for an unhurried look around and a walk, cost 34 PLN (8 + 7 + 7 + 6 + 6). The rates are set by resolution no. XXXI/363/26 of 28 May 2026, in force since 1 July 2026 (as of September 2026, parking rules on the town website (opens in a new tab), in Polish).
Can a coach park here?
Yes — this is one of three points where the town map explicitly allows coach parking; the other two are the car park on ul. Turystyczna behind Netto and the one by the Szrenica lift. The rules for paid car parks (§5.8) require drivers of buses and vans carrying more than 9 passengers to use designated bays, and where there are none, to park so as to take up as few spaces as possible.
How do you pay and what is close by?
You pay at the parking meter, which takes coins only and gives no change, or in the MOBILET or City Park App apps. Leave the ticket behind the windscreen. Electric cars and drivers with a disabled parking card using the marked blue bays are exempt. About 70 metres away is the “Ul. Kilińskiego, parking miejski” stop served by bus lines 1 and 2, so you can leave the car here and continue by public transport. A red hiking trail also runs nearby.
