Wysoki Kamień — how to get there
You can climb Wysoki Kamień on the yellow trail from Zakręt Śmierci (about 3.1 km, about 1 h 15 min) or on the red trail from Szklarska Poręba Górna railway station (about 3 km, about 1 h 30 min, steeper).
Yellow trail from Zakręt Śmierci
Drive to Zakręt Śmierci on the Sudeten Road (regional road 358) towards Świeradów-Zdrój and use the free car park. The yellow trail leads via Czarna Góra to the top — about 3.1 km and 1 h 15 min, the gentler and more varied option.
Red trail from Szklarska Poręba Górna station
From the station and the tourist information centre (ul. Jedności Narodowej 1A), the red Main Sudeten Trail climbs to the summit — about 3 km and 1 h 30 min, steeper than the yellow.
Note: from 31 August 2026 replacement buses run between Jelenia Góra and Szklarska Poręba Górna (until 24 October 2026 according to the town notice) — check the timetable before you go.
