Where exactly is this car park?
The car park is on ul. Jeleniogórska in Szklarska Poręba; the town resolution lists it as plot 556/1 in cadastral district 0005 (§1 point 11). Ul. Jeleniogórska is part of national road 3 running towards Piechowice and Jelenia Góra, so it is a convenient stop if you arrive from that side. The Krucze Skały rocks are about 400 m away and the centre is within walking distance. The municipal parking map shows one more point in this area under the working name “Parking centrum 3”.
What does it cost?
The standard municipal tariff applies:
- Half an hour — 1 PLN.
- First hour — 8 PLN.
- Second and third hour — 7 PLN each.
- Fourth and each further hour — 6 PLN each.
- Bus or van with more than 9 seats — 25 PLN for the first hour and 20 PLN for each further hour, no more than 200 PLN per day.
Three hours therefore cost 22 PLN (8 + 7 + 7). Rates as set by resolution no. XXXI/363/26 of 28 May 2026, in force since 1 July 2026 (as of September 2026, parking rules on the town website (opens in a new tab), in Polish).
How do you pay and who parks free?
The parking meter takes coins only and gives no change, so paying in the MOBILET or City Park App is usually easier. Leave the ticket behind the windscreen. Parking without paying brings an additional charge of 200 PLN, which is cancelled if you show that you paid within 15 minutes of the ticket expiring. Electric cars are exempt, and so are drivers with a disabled parking card using the marked blue bays.
Is this the car park for the Szklarka Waterfall?
No, and the two are easy to confuse. The car parks by national road 3 next to the KPN “Szklarka” ticket office, where the path to the Szklarka Waterfall starts, lie several kilometres further west, outside the town. The car park on ul. Jeleniogórska is municipal and paid. If you are heading for Krucze Skały, the free car park by St Maximilian Kolbe Church is closer to the rocks. Be careful with prices shown by map services: an object called “Parking Centrum Objazdowa” appears in this area with an hourly rate that does not match the resolution — the municipal price list is the binding one.
