Zbójeckie Skały — how to get there

You can walk to Zbójeckie Skały in Szklarska Poręba from Szklarska Poręba Dolna railway station: about 700 m and 25 minutes uphill on the yellow trail, or about 1.3 km and 30 minutes on the gentler black trail. From Zakręt Śmierci, which has free parking, it is about 1.5 km.

By train to Szklarska Poręba Dolna

Szklarska Poręba Dolna station is on the Jelenia Góra – Szklarska Poręba – Jakuszyce railway line. From the station:

  • Yellow trail — about 700 m and 25 minutes uphill: asphalt first, then paving stones, finally a forest path.
  • Black trail — about 1.3 km and 30 minutes, gentler, with switchbacks.

Note: from 31 August 2026 replacement buses run between Jelenia Góra and Szklarska Poręba Górna (until 24 October 2026 according to the town notice). The replacement bus stop for Szklarska Poręba Dolna is Piastowska/Kościół. Check the current timetable with the operator.

By car

The most reliable start is the free car park at Zakręt Śmierci on the Sudeten Road (regional road 358). From there, walk down the yellow or black trail to Zbójeckie Skały — about 1.5 km, 25–30 minutes — and remember the way back is uphill.
