Śnieżne Kotły — how to get there
Hikes to Śnieżne Kotły start in Szklarska Poręba: from ul. Turystyczna, with the lower Szrenica cable car station and a municipal car park (5 PLN per started hour, September 2026), or from ul. Urocza, where the yellow trail climbs via the Pod Łabskim Szczytem hut.
By car
National road no. 3 runs through Szklarska Poręba from Jelenia Góra to the Jakuszyce – Harrachov border crossing. Navigate to “ul. Turystyczna, Szklarska Poręba”.
Parking
- Municipal car park, ul. Turystyczna (lower station of the Szrenica cable car) — 5 PLN per started hour.
- Ul. Urocza (near the Mineralogical Museum, start of the yellow trail) — paid spaces along the street.
With the cable car route, keep the cable car’s operating hours in mind so you can ride back down.
