How do I get from Szklarska Poręba to Harrachov without a car?

The easiest way is by train: line no. 311 runs from Szklarska Poręba Górna station via Jakuszyce (Polana Jakuszycka stop) to Harrachov and on to Kořenov. In Harrachov you can visit the Novosad glassworks, and a blue trail along a tarmac road leads to Mumlava Waterfall. Check the timetable before you go and take an ID card or passport to the Czech Republic. In autumn 2026 (31 August – 24 October) replacement buses run on the Jelenia Góra – Szklarska Poręba Górna section.
