Novosad Glassworks and Mini-Brewery in Harrachov
Novosad & syn Glassworks (Sklárna a minipivovar Novosad & syn) is a glassworks with a glass museum and a mini-brewery restaurant at Nový Svět 95 in Harrachov, Czech Republic, less than 20 km from Szklarska Poręba. The 45-minute glassworks tour runs daily 9:00–15:00, and an adult ticket costs 250 CZK.
What will you see?
Novosad & syn is a private glassworks founded before 1712 — according to the Szklarska Poręba tourist portal, the second-oldest glassworks in the Czech Republic. The 45-minute guided tour includes:
- a short introduction to the history of the glassworks,
- the furnace hall, where glass is made using traditional techniques,
- a historic grinding shop from 1895,
- a Francis turbine from 1937,
- a self-guided visit to the glass museum with more than 5,000 exhibits.

The same complex has a mini-brewery with a restaurant, where beer is brewed in front of guests, a beer spa and a glass shop.

Tours are in Czech. Tours in German or English are available for groups of 10 or more by advance order.
