The Brama Kamieńczyk ticket and information point of Karkonosze National Park (KPN) stands in Szklarska Poręba by the red trail leading to Hala Szrenicka and is open all year — from 8:30 in the summer holidays and from 9:00 in other months. This is where you buy your park entry ticket.

Where is Brama Kamieńczyk?

The point stands in Szklarska Poręba by the red waymarked trail towards Hala Szrenicka — one of the main entrances to Karkonosze National Park on this side of town. The park does not publish a postal address or coordinates for it, so follow the trail markings.

Current prices and reductions are published by Karkonosze National Park on its ticket information page (opens in a new tab), where tickets are also sold online. The park sets three free-entry days a year: 16 January, 24 May and 10 August. The exception is the Kamieńczyk Waterfall, where the access fee still applies on those days.

The park publishes a daily tourist bulletin (opens in a new tab) listing closed trails. The GOPR notice of 16 September 2026 reminded visitors that, because of repair works and until further notice, the section of the red trail from Szosa Czeska to Rozdroże pod Kamieńczykiem is closed. Check whether it still applies.
